On April 22nd, 2023 at the Earth Day Fresno event at Fresno City College we asked attendees about their biggest environmental concerns. Attendees cast their vote by placing a wine cork in corresponding mason jars. We had an amazing turn out with 115 votes cast! It was a close race, and by show of votes, climate change topped the list of concerns.
Vote Count Tally:
Climate Change – 34 votes
Air Quality – 24 votes
Wildlife Welfare – 20 votes
Plastic Pollution – 19 votes
Water Quality – 18 votes
Thank you EDF!
Huge thank you to all the Earth Day Fresno attendees, volunteers, and participants. Special thanks to those who stopped by and voted in our survey, we thoroughly enjoyed meeting so many new and interesting people. Our intention was to gauge local concerns and results were more diverse than we imagined!
