Our planet — our only home — is under stress.
In Central California, we are seeing hotter temperatures, drier conditions, decreased biodiversity and fewer natural spaces. The truth is simple: We’re in trouble, and there is no Planet B.
As I’m sure you’re aware, local environmental organizations are working tirelessly on everyone’s behalf to protect the Central Valley. What you may not know is that “EcoCenCal” is specifically tailored to promote the environmental efforts of such organizations.
EcoCenCal is known for hosting annual Earth Day events in Fresno. The nonprofit is now expanding to become a year-round organization. When fully operational — by the end of 2026, EcoCenCal will function as a one-stop hub for all things environmental in Central California. Community members will be able to easily connect with dozens of environmental organizations, and those same organizations will have a new resource for optimizing collaboration, thereby strengthening their collective outreach and effectiveness.
